About me

My culinary career began early on, inspired by family that loved cooking traditional and tasty Turkish food. I developed a passion for cooking by watching, helping and learning alongside my family. I attended Beykent University in Istanbul and earned my degree in gastronomy with a focus on Turkish and Italian cuisine. During my college years, I did my internships at Turkish Airlines (Do&Co) and Istanbul Hilton Hotel. I also won a gold medal at the international gastronomy fair in 2014. After graduating from Beykent University I sought opportunities to further develop my career in NY where I can extend my cooking skills. I moved to NY in 2015 and worked in various restaurants in NY. I was recruited to be part of the opening team of Cappadocia, Ora Café & Bistro and LuLu Lounge & Bistro. I gained excessive experience in menu design and restaurant management. While working as an Executive Chef and restaurant manager at Hunkar Restaurant I launched my restaurant consultation business where I assist restaurants in kitchen design, menu engineering and training their staff. Besides I provide private chef service for special parties. Currently I work as a Sous Chef at Nusr-et Steak House and I continue to grow my restaurant consultation business.
